Mr Ian Scott: an outstanding servant to the College It is people like Ian Scott who form the base of our strong and generous community. From flipping sausages at barbecues to organising huge school events, Ian has done so much since his son Alexander (ON 2014) started at Wyvern in Year 1 in 2003 (Ian’s other son, Darwyn, is a Year 12 student). For example, Ian served on the Football Committee as a member from 2009 to 2011 and as President from 2012 to 2014. He ran the first football season launch at La Montage in 2012. Ian switched it up and served on the Basketball Committee from 2017 to 2022, including as President from 2020 to 2022. He worked behind-the-scenes to contribute to the success of many barbecues and Back to Newington Days. His wife Christine has also been an active member of the community, often serving in the Wyvern Tuck Shop and, with Ian, as a member of the Founders Society. We acknowledge Ian as a special and productive member of the community and wish him well as he has decided to take a break after many years of service.
