The Foundation prioritises diversity and social justice Through the generosity of the Newington community, our donors are helping to transform the life of the Hossaini family, a family of six which includes Afghani-born parents, three Pakistani-born sons and one Australian-born son. I was truly inspired by the story of Ali Reza (Year 11), Hassan (Year 9) and Ali Sena (Year 8) Hossaini and their parents (see pages 12 and 13). Providing means-tested scholarships to these three boys is a clear demonstration of the ongoing diversity of our Newington community and our commitment to putting social justice into action.
