Lindfield Celebrating music at Lindfield The annual Lindfield Concert, held in June, gave every student from Kindergarten to Year 6 the opportunity to perform for their friends and family in Centenary Hall at Newington’s Stanmore campus. A message ran through many of the songs performed on the night: be happy and enjoy life and who you are. Amongst the songs were ‘Believer’ by Imagine Dragons, ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling!’ from the film Trolls, and the Indigenous song ‘Sersere Eeye’, performed by Years 3 and 4, who did an amazing job holding a three-part harmony. ‘When I held my violin for the first time my mind was blown: “I found my new hobby, music!”’ Years 3 and 4 doing the dance to Sesere Eeye.
