The reserve will consist of sports turf maintained to an appropriate standard for use by a mixture of sporting codes. Skateparks are included in this category as they provide an area for a variety of activities. The Council provides 16.44 ha of local sportsgrounds. The majority of the reserve is maintained for a single purpose and other uses are restricted. Council has a number of agreements or leases with Community Associations and sporting codes in relation to the use of the sporting facilities.
