For regional Tourism Success Factors GORRT has applied evidence based best practice Success Factors for Regional Tourism to prepare Destination Action Plans for 16 of the region’s destinations and also for a diagnostic assessment of the current state of the regions visitor economy performance. These success factors characteristics, indicators and assessment provide valuable insights to guide the development of sustainable destination visitor economies and as such have been applied to the development of strategies and actions of this Master Plan.
