As a part of process Marlborough Roads also maintains a database of service requests as received from both public and Council. This system tracks the service request and maintains a history of actions. The above information is used in understanding the public perception and expectation of public on the roading asset. This information is used to help set Levels of Service. 1.5.3.4 Maintenance Cost Recording Maintenance cost information is currently being collected on the network and entered into RAMM. This information is currently collected by two methods; The first by the contractor and submitted to the consultant for verifying quantity, quality, and costs prior to certification of payment. This information is then loaded into the RAMM database every three months. The second by the contractor working live on the RAMM database updating actual work completed with a nominal cost allocated to it in RAMM considering most work activities are completed on a lump sum basis. 1.5.3.6 Data Accuracy As part of the asset valuation process data confidence and accuracy levels have been established. These data confidence levels have been established in terms of the asset valuation, and are able to be applied in this instance. The overall confidence grading placed on the RAMM data is Grade B. Table 5.3.6.1 outlines the component confidence grading placed on the RAMM data.
